This year's Yulin Dog Meat Festival (6/21) is over, but the ruthless dog and cat meat traders behind it will continue their year-round abuse and slaughter of pets and strays.
When will it end? It will end when there is not enough demand to sustain the trade. No buying = No killing. Help us end the demand by changing hearts and minds in dog and cat meat-eating communities and helping them to embrace dogs and cats as family, not food.
Our strategy is rooted in 10 years of service, 16 visits to Yulin, and first-hand knowledge from our teams on the ground in China 365 days a year who are part of the local community, speak the local dialect, and understand the local government.
Our Family, Not Food campaign ends today and we are still a little bit short away from meeting our $50,000 goal. Your gift today will protect and save dogs and cats by providing the animal care, advocacy, and education necessary to end the brutal trade's reign of terror on innocent animals.
