Work on the ROB at Carmelaram has been halted due to delays in land acquisition by BBMP. The resident living this side of the road now have only one road to connect to Sarjapura road / ORR and that too is broken for 500 meters ( mud road). Both the work is halted leaving the people with no choice. Due to railway flyover work the gate is also closed.if the work is not completed before monsoon it would be really difficult for all living this side of the road as well those using this road from Varthur ,Residents of Gunjur, Varthur , DSR parkway, DSR white waters , Sunshine etc and also those who come to Mount Carmel church.
