Thank you for more than 1,000 signatures in just four days - keep them coming

Another target has been reached with 1,000 people signing the online petition and a further 100 signatures on a paper version which were collected in the Town Centre last Saturday [see photo]
We are pleased the residents of Redditch and users of the Redditch Town Library across the County are finally having their say on the future of our Library and the continued Library provision through signing this petition which is growing every day.
The petition hits at claims by the borough’s ruling Conservative group that they have full public backing for their Town Deal plans.
Only 622 residents responded to their Town Deal consultation last year, of which just 46% – that is 287 people – considered ‘a public square on the site of the library’ to be a positive idea.
The number of residents signing this petition so far is more than triple that number.
Thank you again and please share this with your friends and neighbours so they to can have their say too.
