Support reaches 500 and still climbing

Thank you for your support of the petition in keeping our Library at the heart of Redditch with a guaranteed plan and full services.

Opposing the plans to demolish the current Redditch Town Centre Library without a fully costed and viable plan for future location of ALL its services.

As our library petition passes 500 signatures and the number of comments in less than 36 hours it is clear that residents are concerned about the plans to demolish the library without proper consultation or a fully costed plan for re-provision.

Our intention is to present the petition to Worcestershire County Council on your behalf at their next full Council Meeting as they are responsible for Libraries in the County and thus they should answer as to the future provision of Library Services in Redditch.
