REDDITCH LIBRARY PETITION- WE'RE WINNING

After only 2 weeks over 1500 people have signed this online petition calling to halt demolition plans of Redditch Library until a full and proper plan for relocation is available. At least 200 people have also added their signatures on paper.

This means over 1700 residents are NOT happy with the lack of transparency from the Conservative led council. They will NOT accept a downgrade of library services - when will there be a fully funded published plan which can be subjected to scrutiny and proper consultation.

This assurance could not be given by the Leader of Redditch Council at the Redditch Council Meeting in September as he stated such decisions would need to be made by the County Council and not Redditch Council.

Your signatures will all help to show the strength of feelings when Redditch Labour Party bring this petition forward to the next full County Council Meeting in November.
