Recently, all seniors in the Worcester Public School District were made aware that their graduation was going to be held virtually. Many were heartbroken by this. This petition is not meant to offend or attack anyone or any organization. This is simply a peaceful demand to give seniors a chance to graduate- the real way. We deserve the chance to walk across the stage. We would like the Worcester Public School’s graduation to be postponed till later in the year. With a traditional graduation, the 12+ years that seniors have been working for will feel officially validated and worth it. All efforts that have been made are greatly appreciated but a virtual graduation will never come close to the feeling of graduating amongst all of your peers and their loved ones.
