The Worcester Public Schools administration in Massachusetts, does not include anything in their policies about student discrimination for LGBTQ students, which only allows for more harassment with little to be done in terms of consequences. Students and faculty alike need to be educated about what it means to identify as LGBTQ and there should be GSA's available in as many schools as possible for youth to go for help, support, and a constant safe space where they can always be themselves and be excepted for who they are.
