Stop the cull of seagulls

Stop the cull of seagulls
The Issue
The city council wants to apply for a license on Tuesday 29 October to shoot a number of seagulls. Their is many more humane methods of control of wildlife. These beautiful birds are very close to my heart ( I even have a tattoo on my shoulder) so I can't just sit back and do nothing whilst authorities are plotting to kill and injure them. How many of our innocent creatures are going to be the victims of culls. Creatures that are simply trying to survive and have absolutely no knowledge of how some people view them. There has been an increase in bad press regrading seagulls recently, some of which I'm convinced is definitely fake news. For example when there is a report online of a seagull killing a swan but somehow there is no photos or videos of the incident ( very unusual seen as everyone wants to record everything these days and newspapers pay more for photos/ videos )no n to mention there were no details on the RSPCA officer who allegedly attended the scene. I truly believe we should be treating these feathered reminders of the coast in the same compassionate manner we would treat any other animal.
