Since our last update, we have nearly achieved one thousand signers. Along with the thanks that we have to give you yet again, and the request that you continue share the petition, we feel that it is important to remind you why we are doing this. We have regularly had to clear out disgusting and hateful comments on the petition and on the associated Facebook page, but we have also had a number of touching and meaningful comments submitted by you. Many of these comments have told similar stories of being harassed and abused by this blog. In response, the blog has issued requests for further harassment by its fans, and has issued direct threats to people having the audacity to speak back to their abuser. This bullying and use of threats is exactly the sort of behavior that we are calling out, and the exact reason why you should sign. If you are concerned about being targeted yourself, know that you may choose to sign and comment privately to us. We are proud of everyone sharing their stories, but we do not wish that anyone takes risks that they would not like to.
