Woolworths & Coles Stop selling caged eggs!

This petition made change with 814 supporters!

Coles and Woolworths need to stop supporting this cruel practice!

Anyone who has ever had chickens or been around chickens will know how their lives are worth more than being caged 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to produce eggs. Eggs which sell for around $2-$3 a dozen are not worth any animals continual and constant torture.

Chickens are very sociable birds, and will try and roam as much they can, because they are very curious with a great sense of adventure.

Cramming them in cages is not something I support, or could ever support others doing. Coles and Woolworths need to stop selling caged eggs just so they too can also profit from the constant torturing of chickens.

The paper signs that Woolworths and Coles have been forced to display regarding eggs and the chickens welfare is not good enough.

Aldi has committed to stop using caged eggs by a certain year. If it will take until 2025 for Aldi to stop selling caged eggs, shouldn't Coles and Woolworths start making their plans now?

Stop selling caged eggs Coles and Woolworths!

Chickens deserve more than living everyday in a constant straitjacket.

We can only hope they will be free of their boxes one day, and with our voices we can make a change!

A big thank you to everyone who has signed, it is only the beginning of 2017 and we all can make a change!
