Woolgoolga needs an ocean pool! An ocean pool at Woopi Beach will create a safer space for swimming and increase accessibility to the area's beautiful coast.

We want an ocean pool at Woolgoolga Beach!

Why?

For many locals and visitors, Woolgoolga main beach is our favorite spot to swim. It can also sometimes be a little dangerous. Bluebottles, strong rip currents even on calm days, and the fear of sharks can keep some of us out of the water. In summer, rescues are frequent at Woopi Beach. 

Ocean pools provide a safe swimming environment while still giving us a sense of connection with the ocean. Many coastal towns in NSW benefit from ocean pools. For a quick dip, some serious training, or a safe option when the red and yellow flags are down. 

Let's build an environmentally friendly ocean pool for the health and recreational benefit of everyone in Woolgoolga. Please sign the petition!
