Henry Chomicki was a beloved teacher and coach at Woodbridge High School for over 40 years.  In 2015 Mr. Chomicki was inducted into the Woodbridge Athletic Hall of fame.

When Mr. Chomicki announced his retirement from teaching, it sparked an idea by a former student to contact the Board of Education regarding naming the high school track in his honor. The request was turned down due to a policy restricting dedications to the deceased. 

In honor of Coach Chomicki's recent passing we would like to petition the Board to reconsider this former request. We are interested in a naming or dedication of the track only and leaving the name of the stadium as it has always been.
