This is a petition for those that are AGAINST the:

Rezoning of Property PIN#09-19-326-003 | Application #2024-042

and 

Installation of 3,600+ solar panels that are being proposed to go up on the corner of Route 120 and East Wonder Lake Road in Wonder Lake, IL.

 

 

Some Concerns are:

NOISE:  How much noise is going to be coming from this site?  Will the buildings that house the generators, etc. be located close to Route 120 or in the subdivision?

WHO BENEFITS?  Will Wonder Lake benefit by this solar field?  Will residents be able to tap into this as a resource?

HOUSE VALUES:  How is this going to affect house values?

WILDLIFE:  Turtles, and other wildlife, go from the marshy ponds to Wonder Lake. Will they still be able to access the marshy / pond areas?

 

If this solar panel site proposal is a serious concern to you, please attend the below meeting.  The public will be given 3 minutes each to speak their concerns.
