Women should be made aware that they are allowed to carry non projectile tasers for their safety. The rules governing filing charges for molestation or harassment against suspects is very unscrupulous and takes a lot of time, energy, effort and sometimes money. Women should be able to safeguard themselves against any form of harassment at the time of need. A non lethal way of causing temporary dysfunction of the assailant will give the victim time to gather her mind and call the cops if necessary. There is no form of act or law that denies civilians to carry self defence weapons such as tasers and this is a petition which if circulated well will make women aware that they have the right to feel safe at all times.

This petition is aimed towards the media, the government and the law makers to make it a phenomenon in India so to safeguard women and thereby bring a stop to this unruly behavior forever. 
All of us as a single voice can do wonders. Let's not let this slip. We are the change.
