175 signatures in 6 hours: Now we Multiply!

175 signatures in 6 hours is amazing, but we must be sure this is only the beginning.  Over the next 24 hours we are in need of viral spread.  This will be our best opportunity, perhaps ever, to speak as specialists in one voice:  the FDA will understand our position, and will hear us loud and clear.  

Whatever your views on POP mesh, make no mistake, it’s not a hidden agenda:  they are coming after SUI slings next - as mentioned, explicitly, by the plaintiff attorney quoted this week in The NY Times.   Without fairness, transparency and valuing science over politics during these FDA assessments, the future will be bleak, just ask our colleagues Australia and the U.K.  This is our chance to say:  enough.  Our power is in numbers, so do not wait:  post tonight to every last one of your colleagues, friends, trainees.  Going viral means not just signing, but scouring every last contact and colleague, and posting on all relevant social media.  Please do your part.  On Monday the FDA will be informed of this first wave, an effort that should have occurred a long time ago.
