Victim shaming : Stop blaming Women
The Issue
- Do Not wear Small dresses. If you reveal yourself , then men WILL look at you.
- Don't go out in evenings or at night. Don't make yourself available to men.
How many times have you heard your families, relatives etc saying this to you or someone you know. It's almost like Men have a free pass to do anything and everything. But being a female, it's our Duty to dress up and act in such a manner that will prevent men from looking at us.
Is this for REAL? When is our society going to stop Slut shaming women. Why is it always our fault? A man molests a girl, And people ask What did you do for him to touch you OR were you wearing short dresses!
It's high time, that we come forward and say NO .
No to those who try to moral police us and teach us not to make ourselves "Available" to men . Who are they to tell us what to wear and when to go out. Why are daughters told Not to go out at night? Why can't men be told Not to go out!
We live in a world that is dominated by patriarchal values. It's time for equality!
