"Supporting and celebrating women’s rights is a year-round responsibility. But on International Women’s Day (IWD), which is [celebrated each year on March 8], it’s even more important to take a stand for women’s equality.

International Women’s Day began in the early 1900s and is a “a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality,” according to the official IWD website" (Liles, 2020, March 7).

I continue to suffer from racism/discrimination and retaliation, abuse and severe persecution/oppression for defending my and other women's rights/Human Rights.
