Thank you all for your support! It's been great to see so many people getting behind the Phoenix Theatre, Steen and his management team. Hopefully, our united voices can help sway the Wollongong City Councillors tomorrow night. But success is by no means certain! While there is considerable support within Council, not all the councillors value community cultural assets to the same extent we do. Disappointingly, we've learned that the councillors have also been receiving some very negative and misleading emails seeking to undermine efforts to save the Phoenix Theatre. So I have one last favour (well, a few favours really), to ask of you all...... 1.......please continue to share the petition and ask your family and friends to sign and share if they haven't already. Every positive voice in this campaign helps to lessen the impact of the haters. This petition will be open until 12pm tomorrow, Monday 30th May, after which time I'll be packaging up your signatures and comments to send to Steen so he can arrange to have them printed for presentation to the councillors tomorrow night. 2........If you haven't already done so, please write to the councillors with your personal stories of support for the Phoenix Theatre.
