In this case, every single councillor receives a message asking them to vote to save the Phoenix. We've still got a few days to go so please - keep sharing and spreading the word! Your comments are brilliant too. So many personal stories illustrating the impact the Phoenix has had on your lives, as well as messages of support from performers and hirers, audience and community members for the theatre, Steen and his management team. They'll all be packaged up and presented to the councillors with the petition. If your interested in seeing exactly what will be debated on Monday night, the business paper can be found on the Wollongong City Council website under "Council" and "Meetings" (I tried to add a link here but, alas! Computer says "No").
