Hi guys,

I’m here today to defend the life of a dog that would’ve already been fighting a long battle for his life and finally decided to fight back. 

Paramedics, police and Wollondilly Shire Council animal control officers attended a home Lawson Road, Pheasants Nest on Friday due to a mother and daughter being mauled by their “loved” family pet. 

A statement has been issued stating the following:

“The dog will be euthanized as a result of the severity of the attack and with the permission and co-operation of the owner.”

The owners are however unwilling to cooperate with police and provide surveillance of the property. 
If you have a dog or you know anything about them, in particular staffies is that they are well-trained, loving, protectors of your family, not aggressors. 

The dog’s action would’ve been a reaction to the way it has been treated hence the owners are not willing to cooperate. 

This is an official petition for the dog’s life to be spared until all evidence is handed over and investigated thoroughly by police. Let’s keep in mind the decision to put the dog down has already been made so we need to get the word out ASAP. 

I will be making a separate petition to the local police force to have the owners charged should any proof of animal cruelty be found as they should per the prevention of cruelty to animals act 1979.
