The city of Memphis is a great candidate for WNBA expansion. There are currently no WNBA franchises in TN.  With a WNBA team in Memphis our talented women and girls can aspire to play the game they love right here at home- the dream doesn’t have to end. Every summer, when NBA has off The Women’s National Basketball Association begins- WNBA players promote positivity in their play and use their platform for social justice and equality. Powerful messages that shape and transform communities. Ticket prices are very affordable for family entertainment. For there home arena?? We have a vacant 10,000 seat arena (Mid-South Coliseum)  the arena has hosted many sports team and major events in the past and is ready to be reused.
