Wizards/Hasbro - Do NOT Change the OGL License

Wizards/Hasbro - Do NOT Change the OGL License
Why this petition matters

Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro intend to change the Open Gaming License (OGL), which has stood for 23 years and boosted the success of 3rd Edition D&D and 5th Edition D&D.
This new license threatens to undo the game's new-found popularity and to undermine the principle of open gaming, which has become a staple of the hobby and has underpinned many games, not just those derived from Dungeons & Dragons.
Pushing through this new license and attempting to invalidate the old one - 1.0a - threatens to annihilate all the goodwill and participation that has built up in recent years and to damage not just D&D but the hobby as a whole irrevocably. It also goes against the explicit wishes of those who created the open license in the first place.
Previous attempts to scale back or do away with the license (under 4e D&D) were a disaster.
We appeal to Wizards/Hasbro to cancel this move and to retain the existing dual-license model moving forward.
