I have decided to declare victory after what I see as an abusive and disrespectful set of emails were sent to me last night from Witney Allotment Associations Communications Secretary through his NASUWT email account where he labelled me a 'fraud'. I am not a fraud, just a family man looking to provide some cheap nutritious food in the form of eggs for his family. I am also a chap who is aware of his rights and the rights of other allotmenteers to keep hens on their allotments - including quail hens. When these things get to the stage of personal insults, things can get very stressful, and putting this all into context - this is all about allotmenteering - a gentle stressless hobby, I am not prepared to continue a discussion with people or peoples who resort to this sort of attack and bring stress on all involved. I have decided that the quails ARE moving to my allotment when they are good and ready even if I have permission or not. I , and many believe that the law is on my side, so it will be up to Witney Allotment Association to put forward a logical legal argument (hopefully without personal insults) in the future if they want to take action against me.
