As of 5 October, Northfield residents have formally escalated concerns to Planning Enforcement and copied in the investors behind Evolution Homes. Despite Mr Evans’ commitment to submit a formal plan of action by 10 September following his meeting with DCC Highways, no update has been received and no visible progress has been made on site.

Kerb changes, footpath surfacing, driveways and junction works remain outstanding. Residents have received no communication from Lee Evans or Elizabeth Evans at Evolution Homes or its contractor regarding start dates, vehicle clearance, or delivery timelines. Meanwhile, active development continues at the Huthwaite site, reinforcing that Evolution Homes has capacity, but chooses NOT to prioritise Northfield.

We continue to document all correspondence and missed milestones. The petition now stands at 609 signatures, reflecting growing public concern and sustained scrutiny. It will remain active until all works are completed to a professional standard and communication is issued through properly authorised channels.
