WIthdraw the Boulder County Debris Removal Lawsuits to Help Our Friends and Neighbors
Why this petition matters
We, friends and neighbors of those who lost homes in the Marshall Fire, call upon the plaintiffs in the lawsuits challenging the award of the Boulder County debris removal contract to withdraw their lawsuits and allow all residents of Boulder County to proceed with restoring our community.
You do not represent us, our interests, or our hopes for our future.
On December 30, 2021, fire tore through Boulder County, destroying homes and disrupting lives. The vacant lots, smoky smell, and absent friends and neighbors remind us what we have lost. Though our homes stand, we, too, are managing grief and anger, uncertainty, stress, and fear. We are eager to help our neighbors return and for all in Boulder County to move forward together.
The clock is ticking, and you are wasting our time.
DIGS (Demanding Integrity in Government Spending) you do not represent us. We are not the public you advocate for.
Drop your lawsuits. Let us get on with our lives. We’ve lost enough.
