Many small and medium size ISPs are using Mikrotik RouterOS in their networks. Radius servers are used as standard tool for subscriber authentication, authorisation and accounting. PPPoE is very often an authentication method.
To be able to deploy IPv6 with Mikrotik routers running PPPoE server, there is a need to assign Delegated IPv6 prefix to customer's equipment. Currently Mikrotik PPPoE server doesn't accept Delegated IPv6 prefix attribute sent from Radius server. It means that ISP is not able to control/track/limit the IPv6 prefix that was assigned to end customer. This is a huge STOP and limitation for small and medium size providers to deploy IPv6 in their networks.
