Being a loving owner of a young cat I think declawing is inhumane. Declawing or an Onychectomy is a surgery or multiple surgeries done to solve a "problem" caused by a cats natural behavior to scratch things for the convenience of the household owner. It's an inhumane practice which is the human equivalent of breaking all of your fingers down to the last knuckle leading to severe back and joint pain. What I purpose is that USA law makers work to pass a law making declawing unless for reasonable medical reasons illegal and to bring more awareness to the issue so cats and other animals such as dogs, rabbits, etc no longer have to go through an inhumane surgery in the USA.
