Keep Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in Schools

Keep Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in Schools
The Issue
Winnipeg School Division believes that Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy should be payed by Manitoba Health. This is the school division's job to pay for this portion of disabled children's education. OT's (Occupational Therapists) and PT's (Physiotherapists) help disabled children with social skills, motor skills, balance, coordination, memory, excercise, and educational advice. In an effort to force Manitoba Health to pay for this, WSD (Winnipeg School Division) has cut all money supporting and paying for OT's and PT's in the 2021-2022 school year. We need to stop this because it is stripping a vital part of disabled children's education. We need to convice the school division to stop this.
