Boogie's brother is now here - waiting for adoption!

Just 4 days ago, we sent an update about Jasper - Boogie's brother - as he was still waiting in Kuwait to be adopted. Today his status has changed to "just arrived". And we are so happy to see he has been rescued from the horrible conditions (and temperatures!) in Kuwait. This is especially important for huskies rescued from that part of the world - the climate is extremely hard for them to take. As many of you already know, we have submitted an application to adopt Jasper - although we realize it's very unlikely they'll ever consider us for adoption. But, you never know if you don't try. We will continue our fight to get Boogie back. As many of you know, we lost Boogie when WLK decided to take him away after 10 days - because he escaped our yard for 12 minutes. And we will continue to post important updates regarding our efforts on the Facebook Community page created for Boogie which can be found by searching Pages for @BringBoogieBack Please note that we have had to make changes due to some serious backlash on the Community page. So, for now, the Community page is for informational purposes only (although you will see past discussions here and it's a great place to get the history of the story). But if you want to know the inside scoop (like when I came out and admitted I deleted those text messages), please join the group. Anyone who wants to take part in discussions is welcome to sign up for the group which can be found by searching Groups for @BringBoogieBack - you will also find a link to the group from the Community page. We have several members who are passionate in their love of animals. And we're discussing everything from animal law to strategies for getting Boogie back.
