Old South Road is a transport link connecting Bowral, Mittagong and the Northern Villages via Mittagong Airfield. This is major connection for the Southern Highlands and is used frequently by motorists and school buses per day. Old South Road is in a terrible state of disrepair as it is riddled with large ruts and potholes and some parts are not even adequately sealed. The majority of this critical infrastructure is signposted at 80km/h and a major incident or fatality is waiting to happen if the road is not given urgent attention. Wingecarribee Shire Council has an obligation to ensure every single individual within this LGA is safe!
