I have lived on Indian Trail In the small town of McRae located in Keystone Heights Florida for 35 years. My dreams to start a small business cannot become a reality. My hopes to finish school cannot become a reality. While the rest of the world moves forward into the new era of 2022, THE AREA OF MCRAE IS BEING LEFT BEHIND.

That is just the beginning of all troubles. OUR CHILDREN DO NOT HAVE THE SAME OPPORTUNITIES AS THE TECH WORLD MOVES FORWARD!! They are not able to attend distance learning during Covid. They also cannot research, they cannot complete many homework assignments due to the LACK OF HIGH SPEED INTERNET . We have certain Internet available to our areas such as satellite viasat, and Hughes net we can have dish network for a steep down payment as well as a steep monthly payment IF OUR CREDIT CHECKS OUT! We have NO HARDLINED INTERNET  available to our homes.

This means we cannot function on a daily basis we suffer drastically. Not only do we have to basically fight each other for usage of the Wi-Fi, we Have to either choose entertainment or business.
We can attempt to use the service at a very high cost however once we go past our data cap we lose the availability of our services. If there is one storm cloud in the sky we lose availability of our services.

We must UPDATE the technological advances in our area. Our children and our loved ones are being held back by this giant of an issue.

I have contacted Windstream who tells me this is an AT&T area, I have contacted AT&T who tells me this is not their area. I have contacted them numerous times. I have watched others in my area going through the exact same troubles.
Windstream  offers services three houses down on one side and from what I understand AT&T offers  only landline services further down the street. However in some areas we have very little options for Internet.
I am not able to make a phone call from my home Not to call a Doctors office, I cannot complete many DETRIMENTAL TASKS beings we are only offered satellite Internet !

The landscape in the area does not coincide with satellite Internet as the trees block the signal.

I am asking that anyone with the same type of issue  who cannot access readily available HARDLINED INTERNET, to sign this petition to kindly request that we are offered THE SAME OPPORTUNITIES AS THE REST OF THE EVOLVING WORLD!
This is the future and we have CHILDREN BEING HELD BEHIND by the lack of available high speed Internet in our area. I know myself along with thousands of families in this area who are not offered the same opportunities and are greatly being held from their FULL POTENTIAL!!!

We Need reform on this issue! We need HARDLINED INTERNET!!!! Starting with the Busy street of Indian Trail! Please sign this petition to request ANSWERS!
