We, the undersigned residents of Windsor Plaza, ask the owners corporation and strata committee to formally review the building security service.

Residents have raised concerns about interactions with security staff that they have experienced as intimidating or overly controlling.  

Residents have reported being intimidated when trying to admit friends, associates or delivery drivers to the building. They also report verbal threats and physical intimidation, including threats to cancel parking access or restrict entry to the building. Other concerns include behaviour residents describe as excessively controlling and aggressive, as well as concerns about security staff’s interactions with building manager Ray Floro.  

We ask the owners corporation to investigate these reports, including the conduct of Shahruk, whom residents understand may be the head of the security contractor.

We ask the owners corporation to provide a clear process for residents to raise concerns, investigate reported incidents, set clear expectations for security staff’s conduct and authority, and obtain alternative quotes so the owners corporation can decide whether to retain or replace the contractor.
