Winchester City Council has issued its massive Options and Proposals document setting out development possibilities for the Winchester District. This huge document will become available for public consultation soon; from initial reading, it is clear that a large scale development such as Royaldown remains a significant option. Please be prepared to respond to the consultation when it appears. Winchester Local Plan Advisory Group (LPAG) will meet today to discuss the STRATEGIC ISSUES & PRIORITIES document.
This document forms the basis of our LOCAL PLAN for the next 15 years and public consultation will be forthcoming in due course.
Note that it is draft and is not an OPTIONS document as Winchester claims not to know the number of homes that they are being expected to plan for at this stage (page 5)
