Compensate Nazlija (Naki) Ismaili for pain and suffering

The Issue

Nazlija (Naki) Ismaili has been sleeping in her car in front of the European Court of Human Rights for the past five years and is on her 36th day of hunger strike to get the justice she deserves.  In 2009 she was fired by her employer Breuninger GmbH & Co while on sick leave.  She had hurt her back while stacking merchandise at work.  Her firing may have been unjustified and a violation of employment law.  But what is amoral is how Naki has been treated by the legal system and by her employer since she began to seek justice in the courts and especially once she turned for help in 2010 to the European Court of Human Rights.  For details please read this article: http://www.eima.co/articles/is-anyone-listening_57.html.

If Europe is incapable of justice, it must at least be capable of compassion.  Please sign this petition to send a clear message to Breuninger GmbH & Co that it is inhumane and unforgivable to treat your employees with such cruelty.

If Breuninger GmbH & Co does not compensate Naki for her pain and suffering of its own accord, we the consumers will have to force it to do so by boycotting their twelve department stores in Germany.

Please sign this petition to save Naki’s life and to show Breuninger GmbH & Co that we do not tolerate such behavior.
