Hi everyone,
Thanks to you and over 500 other concerned beach users we're really making an impact.
I've submitted our petition to Hobsons Bay City Council and now local paper, the Star Weekly, has taken an interest.
The paper will be running a story about it next week and need a group picture of concerned people - probably somewhere near The Kiosk / change rooms to accompany their feature article.
There's only one time they can send their photographer - 9am this Monday the 22nd May.
I know this is not a convenient time for many people but if you can manage to get down to the beach on Monday morning this is a great opportunity for us to really make an impact.
It's a group pic of people who have signed the petition asking for upgraded facilities. You don't need to be in swim gear, just street clothes is fine. Should be all over in about 10 minutes.
I'm really confident we'll win this one and the outcome will be better beach facilities for EVERYONE.
Oh and the petition is still open and collecting signatures so please share, let's make this huge and impossible to ignore:

Thanks
