Rancho Cordova and Mills Ranch Neighbors, 

We are writing today to request your support of our application to complete the proposed D.L. Williamson East Parcel Park. The request will include creating a walking path through a self guided demonstration garden with new and existing native plant and tree species. The passive use park will also include some historical signage about the original land owners, the Williamson family. 

In fall of 2022 the West parcel park construction began with an estimated completion of Summer 2023. We will be applying for a grant to complete the East parcel where the original Williamson Homestead once stood.

This project will be funded by your Measure H funds (1/2 cent sales tax voted and passed by us in 2014) and plans to begin construction by Summer of 2024. 

These two projects will bring a revitalization to Coloma Rd. And provide a place for our families to gather and learn about our neighborhood's history.
