Hi all, I just wanted to reach out to let you know we’ve just passed 19,721 signatures on our petition! Thank you so much for your support!!! We were able to save 100+ trees from being removed. Now our efforts have switched to prevent the Wyoming Springs extension from destroying the same tree canopy we worked so hard to save. The City of Round Rock is in the beginning stages of developing a massive new four-lane divided road and bridge right on top of Brushy Creek and Hairy Man Road. The extension will also go through the Tonkawa Springs area, which is part of the Edwards Aquifer recharge zone and contributes to the region’s drinking water. The area is home to the Tonkawa Springs Salamander, also called the Jollyville Plateau salamander, which is designated as a federally endangered species. Will you help us to get more support by sharing this petition with ten other people? If enough of us sign we can’t be ignored!
