Marinna Rollins and her boyfriend Jarren Heng reportedly dragged Marinna's service dog, Cam, out into Cumberland County, North Carolina woods where the innocent dog was tied to a tree and shot 5 times. Even more disgusting is the 2 filmed the dog being shot, beaten and then buried in a shallow grave. Police have found multiple videos of the killing and text messages talking about it. As an animal lover, my heart broke for this dog who suffered a terrible fate at the hands of 2 repulsive individuals.

Cam was a 2 year old pit bull adopted to help Marinna with her post traumatic stress disorder.  It is clear that this was a planned killing. There was ample time for the pair to surrender the dog to the shelter he was adopted from.

Jarren can be heard in the video saying "let me hit him once." A female says "It's been real ... I love you, you're my puppy, you're a good puppy, but..." Both Rollins and Heng can be heard laughing in the video.

Before this heinous act, Rollins posted on Facebook "Great last day with the pooch! Sad he has to go, but he will be much happier where he is heading off to:)" Heng then replied "He's gonna have such a great new life."

Marinna and Jarren are both stationed at Ft. Bragg. They have been charged with animal cruelty. This petition is to William West, District Attorney for Cumberland County to punish these 2 at the fullest extent of the law for this unspeakable act of cruelty. They are due in court on May 16th, 2017.

 Attorney William West,

We are asking for Marinna Rollins and Jarren Heng to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for their unspeakable cruelty to Marinna's service dog, Cam, who suffered an untimely fate at the hands of his owner. Marinna and Jarren planned this cruel act and published their secretive intentions on social media. There is no justification for their treatment of this innocent animal.
