Say no to a developers free-for-all in Colchester

Say no to a developers free-for-all in Colchester
The Issue
The government is currently looking to vote through incredibly significant changes to the planning system that will change the face of Britain.
These changes will mean:
- More housing for Colchester under the new methodology - 1612 a year!
- Automatic planning permission for developers with no local input
- Poorer quality housing and denser developments
Fewer affordable homes and social housing - More Permitted Development, which allows offices to be converted into flats/houses without planning permission or even central heating!
- Less money for infrastructure
- More power for developers as residents are overlooked
We want a planning system that it not only transparent and democratic, but gives more powers to communities, not wealthy developers.
We are asking our three MPs for the Borough of Colchester; Will Quince, Priti Patel and Bernard Jenkin; to speak out and vote against these dangerous proposals.
