During my stay at Wildwood my friend and I sat down to eat and watch the firework show. As always, the fireworks were stunning. However, I couldn’t help but be disgusted when they lit many fireworks off at once for the finale. There was so much black smoke that the fireworks were almost out of sight. Of course fireworks are always used for holidays, but on the piers at Wildwood there is a firework show every friday night. It’s known that air pollution is an awful byproduct of fireworks, but this also takes place right next to the ocean. Cutting down the firework shows to possibly just holidays would reduce the massive amount of pollution causing harm every week.
