This Hippos name is Harpo...

The humanity in the community has come to love the fact that we have our own dwelling Hippo. He was integrated by nature into our natural habitat and surrounding areas of the Hartebeespoort Dam.

This is going to break many hearts... including our children's little hearts that won't be able to understand or comprehend the nature of cruelty if this defencless animal is to loose his life. And all just because there is ignorance and disregard for an animals life...

 God's creation...we have nature to offer this Hippo.

Nature in our community has been enhanced and complimented...with a real Hippo that came from somewhere.

Our community adopted this pet, and even named this wonder Hippo that just appeared from somewhere....

Hippos live in sub-Saharan Africa

THIS HIPPO HARPO.... chose Harties.

They live in areas with abundant water, as they spend most of their time submerged to keep their skin cool and moist. Considered amphibious animals, hippos spend up to 16 hours per day in the water, according to National Geographic. Share Hartebeespoort Dam with this Hippo that still is healthy and breathing.
