Wake Up Wigan Event

The campaign for a Wigan in Lancashire will be taking to the streets of Wigan. A "Wake-Up Wigan" event will be held in Wigan Town Centre tomorrow Saturday 18th April from 11.00 am near Moon Under Water (Wetherspoons). This multi campaign event will have guest speakers, music, poetry and art. Left Unity, Green Party, TUSC and Community Action Party representatives will be present and they all support "Wigan in Lancashire's" call for an in/out referendum from Greater Manchester under the slogan "Devo Manc ? No thanks. We're Lancs". We will be getting signatures for our petition and promoting the fact that Wigan is better in the County of Lancashire.
