Yvonne Fovargue MP has now responded to the claim by associates of The Fleece they have the support of our MP for a 4.00 am licence and/or to convert the premises into a nightclub. The following response has been received from Yvonne Fovargue MP:- "Dear Mr. Moulding, Thank you for advising me of the source of your information. However, I can only repeat that I have had no contact from The Fleece or **** *******. I have never indicated my support or otherwise for the premises to be used as a nightclub. Regards Yvonne Fovargue Labour Member for Makerfield" Correspondence edited to remove name of person who gave us wrong information to avoid embarrassment/preserve confidentiality. It is important we set the record straight to be fair to the MP concerned. I can confirm that Wigan Council has still received no planning application to turn The Fleece into a nightclub. I am awaiting a response to my stage 2 complaint to Wigan Council informing them that the Licencing Act was not adhered to. As soon as I receive a response you will be notified. I can confirm it is my intentions to seek a judicial review of the decision to grant a 4.00/4.30 am licence depending on Wigan Council's response and legal advice. I am prepared to do this to protect residents and our local community. I have received some further extremely disturbing information. I am considering the potential implications of this information and awaiting the decision of Wigan Council. I am still considering when it is right to inform the whole community through the delivery of a newsletter to residents homes. This, again, is dependant on Wigan Council's decision. It is very important residents continue to sign this petition. Thank you for your support. Best wishes Mike Moulding
