If something is not done in Wichita soon it may go through the rest of this decade and probably even the 2030s if something taller is not built soon. Wichita deserves much better. With the exception of North Dakota and South Dakota which only have around 700,000 people in each state, Wichita has one of the smallest skyline in the Midwest. Every state with the exception of North Dakota, South Dakota, and Kansas has at least one building in their major cities that is 600+ feet tall. Our tallest building in Wichita is like close to 400 feet tall. Also I have stressed my project I want is not going to be a building or skyscraper but an icon or attraction that will be ~ 500 feet to the observation level and 550 feet at its tallest point.
