The NFL and American Football is loved by fans all over the world. As fans of the game we respect the lives of the players and their safety on the field. The NFL is always changing rules and their rule change of shots to the head have defensive players hitting below the torso causing players to have serious knee injuries. This causes season/career ending injuries, loss of income, and of course a potential life of disabilities and pain. Some players that have endured these serious knee injuries say they would have rather got the shot to the head which in itself could be serious. What we are asking the NFL to do is remove hits on knees reducing the chance of these serious injuries to our players. Knee hits should be 100% illegal in the NFL just like hits to the head and should be illegal in any American Football league to protect the lives of these players short term and long term.
