On January 11th, 2021, the (3) Ohio State Buckeyes will take on the (1) Alabama Crimson Tide in the National College Football Championship. Since 1982, ESPN has broadcasted the national event. Despite decades of entertaining coverage and analysis, ESPN has recently struggled with their commentators. When ESPN’s Booger McFarland and Joe Tessitore were rated the worst announcing duo in the NFL, it was clear a change needed to be made. Four seniors from the University of Vermont believe that they may be that change.
