sighs Where do I even start?  oh, I know.  Dr. Carmen J. Balgobin has more than 27-year experience in Florida Public Education. She did lots of studying, went to schools, become a superintendent, led the Volusia County Schools through covid, and best superintendent for 2025 for NASS. Let me be honest, she looks like the best superintendent but it's actually bad and let me tell you why so I can convince y'all to sign this petition and share it to people more!

 

1. Teachers pay? We need more pay!

Teachers have been dealing with this for almost a few years now. Teachers have been suffering so much because the pay is around 50k. Teachers have Families, Car Insurance, Taxes, Income, Property Tax, Medicare, Medicate. Health Insurance, and etc. Dr. Carmen J. Balgobin makes $280,000! More than half than the POTUS Makes! Our teachers have been dealing with these issues and people been asking the administrational for help to ask them more pay. Volusia County Teachers pay increase? 2%. Dr. Carmen J. Balgobin's? 8.7% Pay Increase and a district car, monthly medical stipend ($500/month), and pay/leave vacation days. Teachers have so many responsibilities just like Dr. Carmen J. Balgobin, but she just doesn't increase the pay for teachers. Lastly Volusia County Teachers are at 25th–30th percentile range from the bottom paychecks. This is why our favorite teacher Ms. (Teacher) quitted because she got a better job that can help her pay her bills and help her future! Dr. Carmen J. Balgobin hears our petition, and teachers need to get paid more. Also, why teachers' pay increase slow, but superintendent is fast? Oh, maybe because the School Borad Favor her and kind of act like corrupt officials. 

 

2. Does Dr. Carmen J. Balgobin care for teachers? Or treat them like frontline soldiers?

What teachers feel like about Dr. Carmen J. Balgobin is that she kind of treats the teacher's kind of like soldiers. For Example: 👉 VCS teachers generally earn less than or similar to entry-level infantry base pay,
👉 but military total compensation is usually higher overall once benefits are included.

It's kind of stupid they get paid kind of like average infantry level based. 

Also congress proposal was teachers should be paid 60k nationwide. Also, Lawmakers were also involved

This is all I have to say, please hear our petition, this is not a form of war, but a form of 1st amendment of form of petition. Please make teachers get paid more. Many good teachers quitted because of you Dr. Listen to our petition to teach our younger generation of what a real superintendent is.
