Rename Helium to Helion to Fit the Names of Other Noble Gases

The Issue

We've all heard of Helium. It's the second element on the periodic table, it's used for balloons, and it can make your voice higher if you breathe it in. One property about it is that is is a noble gas. Noble gases are the elements on the very right side of the periodic table and the most unreactive elements. They are as follows:

Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton, Xenon, Radon, Possibly Oganesson

Notice anything? I did. They all have really cool names, and they all end with "on". Except for Helium. I think that it deserves a better name and the noble gases should all have the same naming pattern. I suggest we change Helium to Helion to fit this. No changes to anything else about it. Just a couple letters to make people happy. The noble gases won't even have been the first to do this! These are the names of the halogens, the elements to the immediate left of the noble gases:

Fluorine, Chlorine, Bromine, Iodine, Astatine, Possibly Tennessine

Something similar is happening here. All of the halogens end with the "ine". Iodine is pronounced differently but it still counts. So what are you waiting for? Sign this petition and change Helium's name to Helion!
