Renee Freer was murdered in 1977 in Monroe, Connecticut. People were interviewed. No one was held responsible. The years passed as many detectives worked the case. In 2000, Governor Rowland increased the reward for helpful information to $50,000. It has remained at that amount ever since. That is inexcusable. 

If Governor Lamont doesn't increase the amount with all of the new attention on the case (an upcoming book by E.C. Hanson and a Facebook group called WHO KILLED RENEE FREER?), this one will go back into the dark and Renee and her surviving family members will never get justice.

Governor Lamont can be the difference. Governor Lamont can become the hero of Monroe. Renee never got a chance to speak about who killed her. Don't let the perpetrators of this crime silence the town of Monroe forever.
