Thank each and every one of you for supporting us and signing the petition. We have received over 3,300 signatures! Due to the set backs caused by Whitworth’s student government, the appeal process, and Ben Shapiro’s own busy schedule, we will not be able to bring him to speak at Whitworth this semester. However, we are hopeful about bringing him in the fall! This is far from over.

In the meantime we are working on bringing another great conservative speaker this semester as well as overturning the ridiculous rule for speakers to be approved by the Whitworth student government. This rule is a clear bias against conservatives as it was coincidentally put in place right after the pro-life speaker Kristan Hawkins came to Whitworth 2 years ago. This is much bigger than any one speaker. We will continue to fight to end this censorship and promote the free exchange of ideas on campus!
